Dragon ranking consists of 2 ranks first is power levels. The second is taming difficulty. Both numbers are out of 20 and are displayed as such 6/4. It is rare for a taming difficulty to be higher then a power level though some instances do occur since power levels are a ranking to how well it fares against other dragons not humans. This ranking is commonly referred to as DL. This ranking is to the average person not to someone who specifies in that elemental field.
power level -->6/4 <-- taming difficulty
Fire dragon elemental ability:
Hecktals: huge class reptile type. two wings that are attached to back and extend down to the bottom of the tail which narrows out as it gets to the tip. the head is narrow with smaller bottom teeth but four large canine teeth in the top that protrude out of the mouth. Two feet that have two front toes and a back toe each with a talon for locking on to prey with a tight grip. A pair of ears on it's head pointed up and out, this is it's weak spot be it in pleasure or in pain. small spines run directly down it's spine so it is impossible to ride bare back on this dragon. Red scales cover it's entire body except the wing membrane. DL: 10/9 Stat bonus: 6 elemental power, 4 elemental defensive power
Salazamder: A amphibious type. They range in the small class but are very long, standing on their back legs they reach to that of a huge class. A larger salamander like dragon It coats it's body in a oily substance that it can ignite easily. It does this by igniting it's catfish like whiskers from the flame within it's mouth. It has a tendency to ignite when frightened or angry but unlike other of it's elemental kin it likes colder waters. It helps to remove old oil that has been burned and used up. They have a variety of patterns giving to the rumor that no Salazamder has the same pattern, though blues have only been recorded in small patches of stripes on red or orange Salazamders. They have three tails, all of which it can detach at will. When they detach a chemical reaction occurs and the tail explodes 4 seconds after detachment. The teeth in it's mouth seem to be retractable but only partially. this prevents painful stabbing of the gums since it's teeth are all spread out from each other. It likes fish. The problem isn't really taming it but finding and catching one. They tend to be tricky to find and are very weary. They have no flight ability but have webbing in between there elbows and knees that they can use to even glide from cliffs or high places. DL 5/8 Stat bonus: 1 elemental defensive power, 2 defensive power, 2 intelligence
Spifes: this tiny class is an oddity that it is in both the reptile type and the insect type. These little nippers stand on two legs and have short front legs though they can walk on all four. They have bat like wings and a tail with a tip that looks like an arrow head which they use for stabbing. They have tiny dragon syndrome and tend to act feisty, there claws can cause damage equal to if you had a paper cut on the same spot three times though if they look like they are going to gag stay clear, they use their cash of gas and ignition to light a fire in there stomach to melt anything. They prefer high mineral rocks which they spew their stomach acid on and then drink it up with their tongue. The tongue is hollow and is strong enough it can pierce skin on humans or dragons, able to slip past most scales to the softer skin underneath. In areas infested with them they sometimes take humans as snacks while they sleep. Some have died from a mass Spife attack while they were asleep. Drained dry without even knowing. They are extremely hard to raise because of their smaller minds and would be better as small cage pets rather then an actual dragon though there nature prevents this and in turn has been deemed extreme cases for tamers attempting to train these. It is thought that these might be children of another dragon type, a pupa stage if you will. DL 1/19 Stat bonus: 1 elemental power

Fire dragon elemental ability:
- Fire breathing / fire spewing (Can shoot fire from mouth or other opening.)
- Eruption (Heats the air around itself to the point of causing a dust explosion.)
- Overheat (Heats the body to a heightened level that accelerates all it's processes making it faster, stronger, smarter, harder, but only for a short time. The record is 30 seconds held by a level 100 dragon. Adrenaline in the dragon can up the time (Time=level/4, I am not going to give for adrenaline, that is for the player to decide (if you think your opponent or someone in the thread is abusing this you can get a staff to rule for this)))
